TEMPORARY-ATMOSPHERES

Nowadays technology has been criticized by humanists who imagine a world without technology, and are sure of this hypothetical reality will work better than the actual one, but it’s really possible? The truth is that we are part of nature and we develop technologies, so it’s impossible to imagine a world without technologies.

Starting with this perception, we use technologies to make visible the invisible, applied strong research knowledge that give us an idea how to face problems over each environment dwelled by humans.

From this conception arises Temporary Atmospheres an interactive architecture & digital art studio based in NYC & UIO, Lead by the architect and new media artist Daniel Cevallos Andrade, collaborating and employing an adventurous team of artists, designers, architects, technologists, lighting designers, digital craftspeople, urban designers, and more. Since 2019, try to figure out the best way to promote experimentation in urban and extreme environments, without leaving aside the adequate relationship between humans and space.

Since the field of speculation we have found a gap to introduce artistically, prototyping, and reflective-criticism artworks to guide the collaborative and participatory process to the develop of hyper-city, we have being part of sundry international festivals and exibitions featuring interactive installations, kinetic reactive atmospheres, advanced digital furniture and fabrication, lighting experimentation, robotic prototyping, live artistic performances, audiovisual reactive algorithms,  A.R. Sculptures, follow us. @temporary_atmospheres
