Glitch and error are part of digital creation. From programming errors to visual artifacts generated during image transmission, glitch constitutes a digital aesthetic that tries to generate tension on the clean image. The medialab screen has physical glitches. Like any architectural element, it is affected by the passage of time. Many of your LEDs have died, and thus remain off or showing fixed or random colors.
